Meet Mike
Mike Whitticar, the founder of NOVA IP Law, has 31 years of experience in intellectual property and business litigation in state, federal and supreme courts throughout Virginia and nationwide.
A Virginia native, Mr. Whitticar graduated from Stanford University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Mr. Whitticar has represented or advised some of the world’s largest and most successful businesses, including GE, Exxon/Mobil, Miller Brewing Company and Canon.
He also is experienced in representing individuals and small and medium-sized businesses in Northern Virginia.
Meet Jonathan
Jonathan Brown is a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent attorney who handles patent applications, patent prosecution, and patentability search analysis for NOVA IP Law and its clients.
Mr. Brown is a United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) registered patent attorney.
He served as a Patent Examiner with the USPTO, where he examined applications in chemical, electro-chemical and mechanical technologies.
